Gar Aromas® is a hair care fragrance supplier supporting shampoo brands, private label businesses and OEM/ODM manufacturers. We supply fragrance concentrates for incorporation into finished shampoo formulations, with scent selection based on the product format, formula requirements and brand positioning.
A shampoo fragrance needs to be evaluated throughout the washing experience. Bottle appeal, scent during lathering and fragrance remaining after rinsing may differ. Assess the selected sample in your actual shampoo base to confirm the scent profile, appearance and storage performance.
Hair Care Fragrance Development
Our development process starts with your application and fragrance brief:
- Define the project. Share your shampoo format, base information, target pH, market, preferred scent direction and fragrance budget.
- Select samples. Discuss existing fragrance options or a custom direction based on your reference product and performance priorities.
- Evaluate in the formula. Check appearance, clarity where required, color, viscosity, storage stability and scent during washing and after rinsing.
- Provide feedback and approve. Record the sample code, dosage and test conditions, then confirm the selected fragrance before bulk ordering.
Specific feedback helps guide adjustments. Tell us whether the scent needs a fresher opening, less sweetness, better base odor masking or a different impression after rinsing.
Shampoo Applications and Scent Directions
Selected fragrance options can be assessed for clear, pearlescent, creamy and sulfate-free shampoo formulas. Suitability is confirmed for the individual fragrance and finished product base.
Scent directions include fresh floral, fruity floral, citrus green, herbal, aquatic and clean musky profiles. For salon-inspired or perfume-inspired shampoo concepts, define the desired balance between bottle scent, fragrance during lathering and scent on washed hair.
