For a room perfume spray, the fragrance brief can specify the opening impression, room scent intensity and character as the scent develops after spraying. We can discuss fresh linen, tea, citrus, floral, aquatic, herbal and woody musk directions according to your brand positioning.
Fragrance Selection for Your Spray Base
Alcohol-based, hydroalcoholic and water-based formulas have different formulation requirements. Share your base composition, planned fragrance loading and desired appearance so fragrance samples can be selected for relevant trials.
For clear water-based sprays, evaluate the fragrance together with the proposed solubilisation system. Check clarity, separation, colour and scent stability during storage, then assess the finished formula through the intended spray pump.

Evaluating Room Spray Fragrance Samples
Evaluate fragrance samples in the finished spray formula before placing a bulk order.
- Prepare formulation trials. Use your intended spray base and trial fragrance loadings appropriate for the application.
- Observe formula stability. Check for changes in appearance, separation, colour and odour under storage conditions relevant to your product.
- Use the proposed bottle and pump. Assess spray delivery, leakage, deposits and packaging compatibility with the finished formula.
- Evaluate the scent after spraying. Compare samples using a consistent spray dose and room conditions. Record the initial impression, room scent intensity and how the fragrance develops over time.
- Check fabric-contact applications separately. For linen and pillow sprays, evaluate the intended fabrics for staining and residue using the proposed directions for use.
Use the results to select the fragrance and loading before confirming the production formula and bulk order.
